Audience

- Identify the main types of electric pallet trucks and their components;
- Know and understand all the technical and practical concepts, such as prohibitions, nominal capacity, data plate, battery replacement and charging, etc.;
- Conduct a proper inspection according to the standards of the machinery;
- Handle loads while taking into account the principles of safe movement, driving, and use.
Legal notice
In order to comply with RROHS, section 256.3, the employer must provide practical training, carried out under the supervision of an instructor, that covers forklift-related activities, such as starting, moving and stopping, handling loads and any other maneuvers required to drive a forklift. Practical training should be carried out, initially, if possible, outside the area reserved for routine operations and then completed in the usual work area.
