Our vision was inspired by a challenge faced by SSTenligne's co-founders within other business ventures. We recognized the need for a cost-effective, efficient, and easily accessible solution for training employees in health and safety matters. This need wasn't unique to us; it was a global necessity waiting to be met.
So, in 2014, SSTenligne was born. We proudly introduced our first online training platform, marking the beginning of an ambitious journey. Two years later, we achieved a pivotal milestone by creating our first Academy, a white-label training platform designed specifically for a major client. In 2018, we undertook our most ambitious project: rebuilding our platform from the ground up.
The year 2020 presented unforeseen challenges due to the global pandemic. However, it also gave us an opportunity to grow and define ourselves as the best solution for training employees remotely or those unable to work on site.
This is also the year where we launched the new version of the platform, two years in the making. It marked a pivotal moment in the evolution of SSTenligne. This substantial overhaul was not just an upgrade; it was a groundbreaking shift that we knew we had to make to set the stage for the future. The reliability, security, and scalability of our platform were enhanced to ensure it could handle the increasing demands of our ever-expanding user base.
From training only a few hundred employees to over 350,000 users (and growing), facilitating thousands of course completions daily, our impact has transcended the borders of Quebec. We are now a major training partners of the most prominent businesses. As we are expanding worldwide with new contracts, we keep the same commitment to our clients: to provide an easy-to-use, cost-effective, and high-quality training platform backed by an efficient and proactive support team.
